1981 - 1988 - Childhood

Díma Bilán (Russian: ́ ́) is a Russian pop singer and actor. He was born on December 24th 1981 in Ust-Dzheguta, Karachay-Cherkesia under the name of Víktor Nikoláevich (Russian: ́ ́ ́). In 2006 Dima represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest with the hit Never Let You Go which secured him the second place. He came back to win the contest in 2008 in Belgrade with the song Believe. His success in the Russian music industry is undisputed as the number of Dima’s number one hits in Russia proves.

When Dima was two years old, his family moved to his grandmother’s place in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny in Tatarstan. At the age of six, he moved again with his family to Kabardino-Balkaria where he and his sister attended school. His talent was evident from an early age as he was always the center of attention in matinees, poem recitals and school concerts.
